La Braja Barbera D’asti Docg 2019

Good expression of the pure Barbera blend obtained from grapes selected and harvested by hand in the vineyards called “Braja”, located in sunny areas of the Castle farms. The passage of about 40% of the product in fine woods for 6/8 months softens the acidity and gives balanced tannins and persistence of typical characteristics.

From the hillside vineyards of the castle come the bunches of Barbera with dark and crunchy berries which, vinified alone, give this Barbera d’Asti Superiore a decisive and strong flavor, full of warmth.

A serious, complex and austere Barbera, which is expressed in its typicality by releasing a marked freshness perfectly balanced by the right alcohol content and polyphenolic ripeness of the grapes.
