Castello Piemonte Chardonnay Doc 2017

Wine of great richness and elegance, characteristics conferred by the Chardonnay vine which finds optimal production conditions among the white clay hills of Gabiano.

The slightly late harvest allows to obtain bunches of an intense golden color with great aromatic complexity and high sugar accumulations.

The 7-month stay in barrique gives Castello complexity and broad and defined nuances, noticeable both on the nose and on the palate.

From the hillside vineyards of the castle come the bunches of Barbera with dark and crunchy berries which, vinified alone, give this Barbera d’Asti Superiore a decisive and strong flavor, full of warmth.

A serious, complex and austere Barbera, which is expressed in its typicality by releasing a marked freshness perfectly balanced by the right alcohol content and polyphenolic ripeness of the grapes.

A Matilde Giustiniani Gabiano Riserva Doc 2016

This Reserve is dedicated to Princess Matilde Giustiniani, who in the past was able to restore the castle to its former glory.

From the historic vineyard of the estate, and only in the best years, this d.o.c. is produced. with a strong personality and intense aromas.

It stands out for its great longevity and is excellent as a meditation wine.
